A Texas mother has been accused of leaving her two small children alone at home for six days while she partied on a cruise in Puerto Rico. Lakesha Woods Williams, 29, was arrested after police responded to a welfare check at her apartment in a luxurious Houston high-rise on Tuesday, according to court records seen by DailyMail.com. Officials say they found Williams' eight-year-old son and six-year-old daughter at the home without supervision - almost a week after Williams had flown to Miami on April 4. The home smelled of urine and had trash and food thrown everywhere. The kids told police their mom had left for a trip and they did not know when she would be back. Neighbors told police they saw Williams leaving with luggage on April 4 - and it's not the first time something like this happened. 'We are still putting together the facts and circumstances of how these children were left alone for several days,' said Ted Heap with the Harris County Constable's Office.
